LuAnn Myers– Executive Director
LuAnn has worked as a business owner for over 25 years. She has been working with adults and children with special needs for over eleven years. As a co-founder of W.A.L.L.S., she has been the Executive Director since its inception. LuAnn enjoys spending her free time with her husband, children, and their five grandsons.
Terry Myers- Facilities Director
Terry has worked in the construction field for over 40 years. Terry is a co-founder of W.A.L.L.S. He has been working with adults and children with special needs for eleven years. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife, four daughters, and his five grandsons.
Brittney Sutton- Director of Programming
Brittney graduated from Purdue University with her Bachelor of Arts in Special Education. She was a Special Education teacher at Pittsboro Elmentary School for five years before she left to start W.A.L.L.S. Brittney received her Master of Arts from Ball State in Special Education Administration and Master of Arts in Nonprofit Administration from Louisiana State University. She enjoys spending time with her husband Ryan, children Tyson & Leslie, and their two dogs.
Kelsey Mahurin- Direct Care Professional
Kelsey graduated from Warren Central High School. She plans to further her education focusing on Special Education. She has been working in the field for seven years. In her free time she enjoys to cook and bake. She also loves to spend time with her family and husband Matt.
Laurie Bonifield- Direct Care Professional
Laurie attended Indiana State University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Special Education. She has been working with children with special needs for over 20 years. She currently teaches at Pittsboro Elementary School. She loves to spend her free time with her family and friends, traveling, playing cards, games and reading.

Mallory Moreno- Vice Chairman
Mallory grew up in Zionsville, Indiana and while in high school had the pleasure of meeting Rex, one of W.A.L.L.S.’s current associates, for the first time when he was just a 2nd grader. She became one of the founding board members of W.A.L.L.S., inspired by Rex and the need in her childhood community for a place like W.A.L.L.S. Mallory is an elder and disability law attorney in Chicago, Illinois. She currently lives in Mount Prospect, Illinois with her husband and fellow board member, Dave, and their daughter Vivian.
Dave Moreno- Treasurer
Dave is a Senior Data Systems Analyst at Takeda Pharmaceuticals and has an MBA from Loyola University Chicago. Along with being on the Board of W.A.L.L.S., Dave also participates in the Special Olympics as a unified Bocce partner with his brother, Jose, and volunteers at other Special Olympic events throughout the year. Dave and his wife, Mallory, live in Mount Prospect, Illinois.
Hanan Dzurny- Secretary
Hanan has a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Indiana State. She has taught at Indianapolis Public Schools for 16 years. She is one of the founding members of W.A.L.L.S. and enjoys being on the Board so that she can visit with the associates on her school breaks. She lives in Carmel, IN with her husband and two boys. She loves cooking, gardening, and spending time with her family.

Claudia Kightlinger- Board Member
A former Hoosier, Claudia grew up in Northwest Indiana and attended Purdue University. While at Purdue, Claudia became friends with Brittney and her family- who would later found W.A.L.L.S. After attending and helping with several events, she knew she wanted to become more involved with the organization. In her free time Claudia enjoys running, creative projects, and reading. She resides in Columbus, OH.
