W.A.L.L.S., Inc was formed in the interest of a young man with Autism and Cerebral Palsy, who is near and dear to the hearts of our founders. Watching him grow over the past decade, it became apparent to our founders the lack of support and continued development he would have as he exited high school. The son of a single, working mother he could only be provided with a caretaker in his own home.
The founders of W.A.L.L.S., Inc explored other care options for this young man, as he would need constant assistance to succeed, feel fulfillment and maintain a job in the workforce. After speaking with several local high school special education teachers, they also emphasized the need for better care options for this young man and his peers. From here the idea for W.A.L.L.S., Inc, a sheltered workshop for adults with disabilities, was born.
